I agree that AT&T customer service is the worst in the planet, but I have to disagree with the rest of the article. Wait few more months and you will find out who's the best wireless network. (No, I don't work for AT&T)

VZW is rolling out their LTE network later this year... AT&T isn't even getting a start on rolling out their LTE network until late next year. AT&T just can't even begin to compete with VZW domestically.

after seeing how the Death Star handled the Iphone debacle recently I have stopped being a Phanboy. I have done some research reading to stumble on stories about how ATT is no big fan of Apple since us Power Phoners have really shown the gaps they have in their network. Stories about how they did not even want to spend money on a 3G network to begin with or the fact that they fear that all the Iphoners getting on MMS would bring the network to its knees makes me cringe.... BUT

I am equally unimpressed with VZW and early reports on limitations that they would also put on the Iphone in their network. Just tells me VZW is another big machine that just "does not get it". It may turn out to be a case of lesser of evils....

Everyone already knows that VZW locks down their phones more so than other carriers, so the fact that they would *consider* doing that with the iphone is not surprise. I guess we'll all just have to wait and see what happens when at&t's exclusivity deal is up. But, you simply cannot argue the fact that when it comes to customer service VZW wins that battle hands down.
